STORY

Life is the sum of coincidences and your own decisions.

The story of Korpiaho Design began when Anna's acquaintance took her to a friend's pottery workshop to learn pottery. Inspired by the experience, Anna enrolled in a ceramics course at a community college and immediately began to explore more broadly the educational opportunities in the field. It didn't take long before she found herself studying to become a ceramic craftsman. 10 years have passed since that first pottery experiment, and after her studies, her journey has continued as an entrepreneur in the arts and crafts industry.

Clay is a fascinating material, and the only limit to working with it is your own imagination. Different types of clay, decoration and firing techniques bring interesting nuances to the work.

It all started with a spinning experiment.

Today, the focus of the business is on art ceramics and interior design products, as well as teaching. In addition to her work as a ceramist, Anna works as a photographer . As a counterbalance to her creative work, she enjoys playing ball games and spending time outdoors with her dog every day.

Give it to me. Member of the Turunmaa Ceramics Guild.
